Schuler finds a
home with investors

Schuler Homes' 20.2 percent gain led the way as four Hawaii-based companies posted double-digit advances this week in the Bloomberg Honolulu Star-Bulletin Index. Schuler's stock took off after two of the largest U.S. homebuilders announced a merger. Cyanotech surged 17.7 percent after a favorable patent ruling for its carpal tunnel syndrome treatment.

Cheap Tickets rose 14.9 percent following a "buy" upgrade and other positive news among discount retailers and Hawaiian Airlines rose 12.7 percent ahead of next week's earnings.
