In honor of Mother's Day, Iolani Sportswear and the Island Moments by Emme clothing line will host a free noon fashion show tomorrow at Liberty House Pearlridge.

Local celebrities will be workin' it on the runway, along with their mothers, children and grandchildren.

Shown will be the latest in contemporary island wear from Island Moments by Emme, inspired by television personality Emme Tomimbang, and designed and made by Iolani Sportswear.

Among the models featured in the show will be legendary musician Aunty Genoa Keawe, appearing with her granddaughter Nicole Keawe; Na Hoku Hanohano award winner Teresa Bright, with her daughter Keaulani Bright; chef Phillipe Padovani with his mother, Lucette Padovani; and Tihati Productions Cha Thompson with her son Afatia Thompson.

Iolani Sportswear co-founder and co-owner Edith Kawakami, joined by her daughter Pat Kawakami, will also be among the models.

Tomimbang will give one Emme Rose, a bright fuschia Kamuela rose named in her honor, to each of the first 100 mothers in attendance. Mothers will also be eligible to win an Emme Rose arm bouquet from Paradise Florist in a drawing to be held after the show.

For more information, call Liberty House at 941-2345.
