WAIKIKI BURIAL MOUND

MIKE PALCIC, SPECIAL TO THE STAR-BULLETIN
Work is proceeding on Na Iwi Kupuna Waikiki Memorial,
the burial mound project approved last year by the
City Council near the Honolulu Zoo. The memorial will
house about 200 sets of Hawaiian remains that have been
dug up inadvertently during construction work in
Waikiki over the years.
