Kamehameha’s Russell
bombs Maryknoll, 55-23

Noelle Russell's 3-point barrage helped lift the Kamehameha girls' basketball team to a 55-23 win over Maryknoll last night at Kekuhaupio Gym.

The Warriors improved to 10-1 in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu, while Maryknoll fell to 1-9.

Russell nailed four 3-point shots and finished with 14 points. Tai Soo scored 18 points to lead all scorers, while Megan Ching added 10.

The Spartans stayed with the Warriors through the first half, trailing 20-14 at halftime. But Kamehameha pulled away in the third quarter with a 15-5 run.
