KWAI-AM K108 has introduced the first Hispanic radio news program in the state. Hispanic news
debuts on radioThe program airs 1:05 to 2 p.m. Sundays, focusing on local, national, and international issues of interest to Hawaii's Hispanic community, and those interested in the culture.
Recent radio program discussions have included Census 2000 and what the numbers mean for Latinos in the United States; immigration issues; and job opportunities available forHispanics in the federal civilian personnel system.

Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles -- Here's one sequel people haven't exactly been clamoring for. It's been 13 years since we last saw the misadventures of Mick Dundee (Paul Hogan), as the charming Aussie wended his way through New York City. Now he's in La-La Land, following his wife (both onscreen and in real-life, Linda Kozlowski) for more fun and sight gags aplenty. If you enjoyed the first two, you'll probably like this one (PG).
Freddy Got Fingered -- The former MTV jerk-you-love and "Road Trip" star Tom Green gets to write and direct his own comedy flick, playing a slacker who refuses to move out of his parents' cellar. Green says it's not just a gross-out guffawfest, but it'll have its "inspired moments" (R).
The Tailor of Panama -- A fine, sophisticated adaptation by John Boorman of John le Carre's novel about a disgraced British intelligence operative (Pierce Brosnan) who is sent to Panama as his last chance to redeem himself. Geoffrey Rush and Jamie Lee Curtis co-star (R).
