Big Island’s Cyanotech
makes big move

Cyanotech Corp., which saw its stock jump 6.32 percent, had the best performance among Hawaii-based companies over the last five trading days in the Bloomberg Honolulu Star-Bulletin Index. The Big Island biotech company, which trades at just $1.03 a share, claimed the top spot by beating out Bank of Hawaii parent Pacific Century Financial Corp., which was up 4.57 percent.

Trailing the 14-member group was Hawaiian Airlines Inc., which fell 7.69 percent.
