New jobs

>> Alfred N. Monico has been named assistant controller at Hawaiiana Management Co. Ltd. He will be responsible for managing the cash reserves of approximately 300 Hawaiiana-managed properties. Monico exits Dream Cruises Inc., where he also served as controller. 

>> Sherilyn F. Kimura has been named project manager for Island Insurance Cos. She will oversee and manage initiatives in the information technology department. Kimura joins Island Insurance after eight years at KPMG Consulting LLC, where she served as senior manager for consumer industrial markets.

Promotions

>> Ron Nomura has been named director of marketing at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort and Spa. He will be responsible for all sales and marketing efforts for the resort and will oversee a sales staff of 22 people covering both Japanese and North American markets. Nomura joined the Hyatt Regency Waikiki in 1987.
