Concert revisits
‘Hawaii Calls’

This week, "Na Mele: Traditions in Hawaiian Song" presents "Hawaii Calls" radio show regulars Nina Keali'iwahamana and Bill Kaiwa. Airing at 7:30 p.m. today on KHET/PBS, the studio concert program presents the performers singing such classic traditional Hawaiian compositions as "Alekoki," "Loa'a Ko Puna Kanoha," "My Sweet Sweet," "Royal Hawaiian Hotel" and "Koke'e." They are joined by Steven Hall, George Kuo and Martin Pahinui, who also sing three-part harmony on "Aloha Ka Manini."

This edition of "Na Mele" will be rebroadcast at 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
