Texas playersThe lineup features the Grammy Award-winning Eric Johnson and Alien Love Child; Dallas shredder Joe Kubek and Mississippi blues man Bnois King; and the Austin guitar slinger Chris Duarte with his group.
Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.. with Duarte's band scheduled to open the show at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets, at $22 in advance, are on sale at Tower Video Kapiolani, Tower Records Kahala and Pearl Kai, Rainbow Books, and Hungry Ear Records Kailua. Tickets will be $25 at the door for the event, a fund-raiser for the Kakaako Improvement Association and Children's Discovery Center.

The concert will also take place at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center May 17, with a pre-Mele party beginning at 5:30 p.m. with entertainment by Kona Storm. The Mele will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The lineup changes for a 4 p.m. May 20 show at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall. Featured will be the Jesse Colin Young Band with special guest Corky Siegel, the Joe Kubek Band with Bnois King, Swamp Daddy, Titus Kinimaka and the Kauai Boys, and Michael Barretto.
