Iolani sophomore Bobby Nash will play against some of the nation's top high school basketball stars at the adidas ABCD camp this summer. Nash to return to camp
By Jason Kaneshiro
Star-BulletinNash will be a repeat member of the invitation-only camp held July 6-11 at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, N.J.
"He went last year and he did well enough that they decided to bring him back to a second year," said Bob Nash, Bobby's father and University of Hawaii associate head basketball coach.
The elder Nash will accompany his son to the camp, but his role will be strictly as a father rather than as a coach. But both know Bobby's performance at the camp could open the eyes of coaches in attendance.
"If he wants to play at the high level of Division I basketball he has to test his mettle against the best in the country," Bob Nash said.
