Star-Bulletin

The suspect in last Thursday's home-invasion robbery in Kahuku also has been charged as a suspect in a carjacking a week earlier.

Honolulu police charged Warren Elicker, 23, with robbery, kidnapping, burglary and auto theft in the home-invasion robbery. He was arrested after he crashed one of the vehicles stolen in the robbery.

Police are still looking for a second suspect.

They also charged Elicker with robbery, kidnapping and auto theft in a carjacking at Ala Moana Center March 31.

Police said he forced his way into a car at the mall, stole the driver's wallet, forced him to withdraw money from an automated teller machine and drove off with the vehicle.

Elicker's bail is set at $100,000.
