Above, Shintaro Ohnuma, a guest teacher from Japan who holds a
7th degree black belt in kendo and a 5th degree black belt in Iai-do
(art of sword drawing). The Hawaii Kendo Federation practices on
the first Friday of each month at the Japanese Chamber of Commerce.
