Becky Hogue led the Buffanblu with 13 points and nine rebounds. Elyse Umeda scored 11 points and Milia Macfarlane added 10 for Punahou. Megan Ching scored 13 to lead the Warriors.
Macfarlane scored her only points of the second half when she sank two free throws with 26.2 seconds remaining to give the Buffanblu a three-point lead.
