Florentino Bataya, 82, of Waianae died Sunday. He was born in Oloa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Corazon; sons Jarrett and Douglas; daughters Jocelyn Shimura and Muriel; sisters Angeline Gallano, Beatrice Alvarico and Rosario Navarro; brother Teofilo Villacorte; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Church, 2324 Omilo Lane. Call after 9:30 a.m. Inurnment 11:30 a.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.

Joseph Dibibar, 61, of Waianae, a retired city waste-water management worker, died March 30. He was born in Kalopa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Paulette; sons Phillip, Dana and Adam; daughters Priscilla Davis, Josie, and Demetria Wingfield; brothers Henry, Larry, Roger and Fred Debebar; sisters June Suan, Lillian Fugere and Olivia Seeman; and 11 grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Sunday at Mililani Mortuary, mauka chapel. Call after 9 a.m. Private burial.

Audrey Jean Dobson, 74, of Parker, Colo., who retired from the transportation department of the Crystal Lake, Ill., school system, died Wednesday in Littleton, Colo. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Chick, Bill, Don and Jim, brother Donald Houvener and nine grandchildren. Memorial services at a later date. Donations suggested to a charity.

Robert Kazumi Egami, 67, of Honolulu, a retired custodian at Honolulu International Airport, died Monday in Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by brothers Kenneth and Raymond and sisters Shirley Otani and Ellen Yatsu. Services: 6 p.m. Monday at Nuuanu Mortuary. Call after 5 p.m.

Richard Maurice Frazier, 91, of Honolulu died Feb. 25 in Arcadia Retirement Residence. He was born in Honolulu. Memorial gathering: 2:30-5:30 p.m. Thursday at Kona Outdoor Circle. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Kona Outdoor Circle Foundation.

Rose Samson Henry, 80, of Kailua, a retired care home operator, died March 27 in Honolulu. She was born in Waimanalo. She is survived by husband LeRoy. Services: 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Call after 10:30 a.m. Burial: Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire.

Lt. Col. John R. "Bob" Jones, 77, of Honolulu, who served in the U.S. Army transportation corps, Hickam Air Force Base, died March 2. He was born in Longmont, Colo. He is survived by wife Dr. Jane Hardy, daughter Leslie K., son Robert, brother Donald T. and two grandchildren. Services: 5 p.m. Tuesday at Diamond Head Mortuary. Kiyoto Kohashi, 87, of Honolulu, a retired production supervisor for Island Slipper Factory, died Sunday in Kaiser Moanalua Hospital. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Dorothy, sons Kerry and Stephen, daughter Beverly Sinton, brothers Theodore T. and Wataru, sister Fumiko Segawa and five grandchildren. Private services.

Soo Yun Lim, 88, of Honolulu died Tuesday in Queen's Hospital. She was born in Korea. She is survived by son Hong Sik, daughter Yun Ja, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Pius X. Call after 9:30 a.m.

Tonia "T" Masako Ojas, 18, of Honolulu, a private first class with the Hawaii National Guard, died Tuesday in Honolulu. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by father Lawrence E., mother Nadine C. Ho, brothers Lawrence E. Jr. and Isaac S., grandmother Kiyo and stepbrother David Ho. Services: 7 p.m. Monday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Call from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Cremation to follow. Private inurnment of ashes. Aloha attire.

Juliette Weight Palma, 98, of Honolulu, a member of the Garden Club of Honolulu, died March 27 in Honolulu. She is survived by son Richard, daughter Joan Thompson, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Graveside services: 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Oahu Cemetery, family plot. Aloha attire. Tsuruko C. Saiki, 71, of Aiea died Sunday in Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi. She was born in Fukushima, Japan. She is survived by husband Roy, son James Chandler, sisters Nakako Tomizuka and Tomoko Hamana, and a granddaughter. Private services.

Fujie "Baban" Tanima, 97, of Kona, Hawaii, a retired coffee farmer, died Sunday in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Olaa, Hawaii. She is survived by daughter Flora Fukumitsu, brother Yoshio Ogi, three grandsons and four great-grandchildren. Services: 4 p.m. Sunday at Kona Daifukuji Soto Mission. Call after 3 p.m. Casual attire. Karlee Po'omaikai Torres-Johnson, infant daughter of Lacey Johnson and William Torres, died March 27 in Kailua. She is also survived by brother Kyle, grandfather Odell and grandmother Candy Elderts. Mitsue "Michiko" Toyama, also known as Mitsue Green, 67, died March 30. She was born in Japan. She is survived by husband Buster Y.; daughters Sharon Sweigart, Sandra Wai'ale'ale, Patricia Gouveia and Charlotte Fernandez; brothers Fujio Ito and Sueo Hatano; and seven granddaughters. The Rev. Shoji Uchida, 44, of Captain Cook, Hawaii, a minister with Tenrikyo Hawaii Kona Fellowship, died last Friday in Kona Community Hospital. He also worked as a security officer with Wackenhut of Hawaii. He was born in Yamaguchi Ken, Japan. He is survived by wife Hatsumi; sons Clint, Marcas, Joyson, David and Samuel; daughters Sincea and Grace; father Atae; brother Ray; and sisters Michie Nakamura and Misako Sato. Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Church Hall on St. Paul's Road in Kona. Casual attire.

James "Jamie" Wofford, 44, of Makakilo died Monday in Ewa Beach. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by mother Edith, sisters Sharon Verano and Jacqelyn Cadiz, and brother Steven. Gathering for scattering of ashes at sea: 10 a.m. tomorrow at Hau Bush Beach Park in Ewa. Casual attire.

Rose Veronica Woodin, 85, of Honolulu died Tuesday in Honolulu. She was born in Pennsylvania. She is survived by daughter Barbara McKay, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Private services.
