[MAXIMIZING THE EXPERIENCE]
>> Take advantage of Disney's Fastpass system (see below). This feature allows you to enjoy the rest of the park while Disney's Fast.00pass saves your place in line.>> To save time at the front gate, purchase your Disneyland Tickets ahead of time.
>> Study a map of the Park before you arrive to familiarize yourself with the layout and plot your itinerary.
>> Keep your hands free all day by taking advantage of Package Express when purchasing items. Package Express is a free-of-charge service that can have your purchases waiting for you outside the Main Entrance at the newsstand as you exit the park.
>> Measure your child's height before your visit so you'll know ahead of time which attractions he or she can experience.
>> Enjoy major attractions like Grizzly River Run, Soarin' Over California, and California Screamin' during the beginning of the day, the end of the day, or during parades. Lines tend to be shorter at those times.
>> Arrive early to obtain seating for parades. Major viewing areas are usually filled closer to showtime. There are generally fewer guests at the second show.
>> If it rains, bring an umbrella so you can still enjoy the park. Lines will be relatively shorter.
>> Wear comfortable shoes.
>> Split the day up. During the busiest times, go back to your hotel for a swim or a nap, then return later.
[THE FASTPASS]
>> This free guest service allows you to venture off and experience more of the park's offerings.
>> It is a way of "scheduling" yourself for a ride or attraction with a minimal wait.
>>Fastpass is available on Grizzly River Run, It's Tough to Be a Bug, Soarin' Over California, California Screamin', Mulholland Madness, and Jim Henson's Muppet*VisionTM 3D.
>> Fastpass machines are located at or near the entrance to the attractions where Fastpass is offered. You'll receive one Fastpass ticket for each Disneyland admission Passport. Your entire party does not need to be present, you just need to have each of their Passports.
>> Simply insert the Ticket one at a time into the Fastpass machine. You will be assigned a one-hour window when you can board the attraction. You will see a display at the Fastpass attraction telling you which window is currently being assigned. >> There is a minimal wait when you return to the attraction.
At each location, there is a sign directing you to either the standby queue or the Fastpass queue.
>> On a busy day, however, there is the possibility that all appointment times may be already assigned.
