Hawaii sealed a three game sweep over San Jose State with a doubleheader sweep at Rainbow stadium last night, 4-1 and 6-5. Bows complete sweep

of Spartans, 4-1 and 6-5
Special to the Star-BulletinHawaii (11-16, 6-12 Western Athletic Conference) hopes to carry momentum from its wins over the Spartans (15-12-1, 5-9) into the Rainbow Easter Baseball Tournament, which starts today.
Rainbow head coach Carl Furutani was not concerned about his team being fatigued by the doubleheader last nightwhich was forced by a rainout Saturday.
"Our guys just want to play," Furutani said. "They feel the game. They're a great bunch of guys."
Defense was the difference in game 2. In the top of the sixth Arthur Guillen wowed the crowd with a spectacular diving catch in mid-centerfield and then Hawaii closed out the Spartans with a 1-6-3 double play to end the inning. Then in the bootom of the inning, the Spartans committed two errors that resulted in a pair of Rainbow runs.
Wakon Childers, who started on the mound for the Rainbows, left in the fifth with muscle spasms in his throwing arm. He's listed as day-to-day.
In game 1, Hawaii's Sean Yamashita dominated from the mound, striking out nine to lead Hawaii to a 4-1 win.
For the Easter Tournament the Rainbows will play seven games in six days.
Centenary and Hawaii square off tonight. Other teams in the mix are Hawaii Pacific, Wichita State, The University of California, Santa Barbara, Kit-Kyushu of Japan and Lewis-Clark State.
