Star-Bulletin staff

The Hawaii Pacific baseball team posted a 12-1 victory over Teikyo-Post University yesterday in the seventh game of their series.

The game, which was ended after 7 innings due to the 10-run rule, followed a sweep Wednesday night, 22-7 and 12-1.

In the first inning of game 5 Wednesday, HPU's Lucas Castlen homered, sparking a 10-run first inning. Ryan Blood, Tom Peters and Corey Hansen combined to go 7-for-9 with 10 runs scored and 11 RBIs for HPU.

It was more of the same for game 6. HPU's Palani Nunes pitched a complete game and Blood went 3-for-5 at the plate.

The Sea Warriors are 15-10. The final game of the series was played last night but did not finish before the Star-Bulletin went to press. For a box score of last night's first game, please see page B4.
