Hilda B. Agdeppa, 74, of Lahaina, a retired salesperson at Ben Franklin, died Monday in Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Honokohau, Maui. She is survived by sons Samuel "Butch" Ellis, Samuel "Kamuela" Kawaakoa, Nick L. Agdeppa, Balbino "Sonny" Aveado and Manuel, Bernard and Jerry Portabes; daughters Rebecca Ann Lynch and Doreen A. Pai, 36 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services: 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at Ballard Family Mortuary. Call from 6 to 9 p.m. Mass: 11 a.m. Friday at Maria Lanakila Catholic Church. Emily K. Budar, 62, of Honolulu died Friday in St. Francis Medical Center. She was born in Wilmington, Del. She is survived by husband Gilman P.; daughters Dorothy Lee Budar-Danoff, Dr. Valerie B. Peckosh, Lillian R. Budar-Krukoski and Romana B. Sergent; brothers Wallace K. Brunner and James J. Kirby, and a granddaughter. Memorial services: 4:45 p.m. today at Waikiki Yacht Club. Arthur "Les" Chatfield Jr., 73, of Waipahu, who retired from the U.S. Air Force and Navy, died Saturday in Honolulu. He was born in California. He is survived by wife Kiyoko; sons Gary and Brian; daughters Chery Boguchi and Mika Connor; brothers Don, Vern and Garry; sister Avis Shinn; mother Irene, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Isabelle "Nana" Cooper, 85, of Mililani died Monday. She was born in Alberta, Canada. She is survived by sons Ardon and George; daughters Marion Gerard and Judith Thorton; sister Sadie Hope, 12 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wilbur R. Ferguson, 75, of Honolulu, a retired lieutenant commander from the U.S. Navy, died Sunday. He was born in DeWitt, Iowa. He is survived by wife Leslie; stepsons Brent and Melvin Crispen; stepdaughter Krista Babbit; daughter Deborah Reed, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Matsuko "Ma" Ijima, 79, of Kaumakani, Kauai, a retired baker with Tip Top Restaurant, died Saturday at home. She is survived by husband Kenji; son Lance; daughter Kathleen Furushima; brothers Tamotsu, Mitsuo, Glen and Yuki Takamura; sisters Sally Okada and Midori Komori, and four grandchildren. Robert M.S. Lau, 88, of Honolulu, a retired engineer for the federal government, died Saturday in Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi. He was born in Honolulu. Charles Noland, 90, of Honolulu died Thursday in Maluhia Hospital. He was born in the Philippines.
