John C. Barbier, 48, of Lahaina, Maui, a self-employed entertainer, died Wednesday in Olowalu, Maui. He was born in Muncie, Ind. He is survived by wife Sherry; sons John J. and Bryce D.; daughter Tiana F.; sisters Sylvia and Cynthia, and mother Jeanne. Services: 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ballard Family Mortuary. Elena A. Cabasug, 88, of Honolulu died Thursday in St. Francis Medical Center. She was born in the Philippines. She is survived by sons Simeon, Alan, Virgilio and Robert; daughters Veronica Esteban and Corazon Manarpaac; brother Paul Arucan; 27 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Bo Len Chu "Millie" Chun, 87, of Honolulu died March 3 at home. She was born in Honolulu. Florentina E. DeGala, 77, of Honolulu died Feb. 28 at home. She was born in the Philippines. Robert S. DeMello, 66, of Honolulu, who played with the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, died March 2 in St. Francis Hospice. He was also conductor of the Oahu Civic Orchestra. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by nieces Gilda Ann Hoohuli, Joycelynn Kahue, Donna Lynn Kaimi, Cheryl Ann Apo, Benney Mae Stein, Benedine Piliahoha and Benny and Benelee Kahue, and nephews Boyd A. and Benjamin Kahue. Eva L. "Aunty Eve" Harvest-Blackledge, 71, of Kaneohe, a retired head custodian at Kaaawa Elementary School, died Feb. 25 in Kailua. She was born in Kaimuki. She is survived by sister Mary H. Brenda Ann Hatcher, 55, of Austin, Texas and formerly of Honolulu, a medical office manager, died Friday in Austin, Texas. She is survived by husband Gerald; son Stephen, and sister Diana Kahn. Audrey D. Ing, 86, of Honolulu died Thursday in Hale Nani Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born in Canada. She is survived by son Dr. Malcolm, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services: 11:30 a.m. Friday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Daisy K. "Tutu" Kikiloi-Abad, 82, of Kapolei died Thursday in Ewa. She was born in Honomu, Hawaii. She is survived by son Ray Campos; hanai daughters Eunice Seward and Winnie Alcosiba; 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
