Rolando Sanchez hosts and performs at a Latin
party to benefit the Hispanic Center of Hawaii.
The Hispanic Center of Hawaii is sponsoring a "Noche Latina" benefit fund-raiser from 6 to 11 p.m. tomorrow at Rolando's Salsa Club & International Restaurant in Kahala Mall. Latin party fund-raiser
Featured will be Julita de Puerto Rico & Latin Fire, Second Time Around, Orquesta Salsaloha, Rolando Sanchez and Salsa Hawaii, Latin Lady DJ Margarita, and a salsa dance exhibition with Minnie Ruiz.
There will also be a silent auction and sampling of Latin pupu.
Tickets are $25 per person with all proceeds going to help the nonprofit bilingual Hispanic help agency. The center provides services including bilingual translators and interpreters, bilingual letter writing, a database of Spanish-speaking professionals, and coming soon, adult computer classes in Spanish.

Tower of Power, the group that delivered such hits of the '70s as "What is Hip?" "You're Still a Young Man" and "Reasons," returns to Hawaii for a concert beginning 6:30 p.m. Monday at McCoy Pavilion at Ala Moana Park. Tower of Power returns
The group features original members David Garibaldi on drums and Rocco Prestia on bass.
Tickets will be available at the door at $20 general and $15 for students.
Today, the group will be conducting a music workshop for Iolani students in the school's band room.
