Seven-footers, top-10 teams and even a squad from Italy will make their way to Hawaii next December for the Iolani Prep Classic.

Tournament founder and director Glenn Young said he's been working on filling out the field for the annual basketball classic since last December.

Participating teams in this year's tournament, which runs from Dec. 18-22, include Fairfax (Los Angeles), Wilson (South Carolina), Rice (New York City) and White Station (Memphis, Tenn.)

Young said Evan Burns of Fairfax is one of the top juniors on the West Coast. Wilson features one of the nation's best sophomores, in 6-foot-11 Major Wingate.

Rice, which won the tournament in 1998, has a 7-foot-4 sophomore on its current roster.

White Station is currently 31-1 and ranked ninth in the nation by USA Today.

Cathedral Prep (Erie, Pa.), Arlington Country Day (Jacksonville, Fla.) and Scavolini (Italy) are also in the field.

USA Today No. 25 Montrose Christian (21-4) returns after finishing as runner-up this past December.
