Horned Frogs FORTH WORTH, Texas -- The University of Hawaii women's basketball team can only bank on getting one final shot at Texas Christian in the Western Athletic Conference tournament.

The two could meet again
From staff and wire reports
"We're looking at two Saturdays from now. I think both teams are," said UH head coach Vince Goo.
If the Wahine and Horned Frogs win their first two WAC tournament games, they would battle for the championship March 10.
Yesterday, UH missed an opportunity to take over first place by half a game when the Horned Frogs converted 11-of-12 free throws in the final two minutes to secure a 73-67 victory.
TCU swept the regular-season series with two six-point wins.
Hawaii briefly led early in the game and once in the second half, 52-51 with 9:49 to play, the result of a 16-3 run.
But UH was not able to sustain scoring spurts long enough. In fact, the Wahine went without a point for the next 5 minutes. The Wahine missed five consecutive shots, including three layups, and turned the ball over four times in that span.
"I know we went inside and we didn't finish," Goo said. "When you expend that much energy (coming back), you look for a lull and hopefully it comes after the final whistle"
It didn't. Although TCU managed just six points during UH's long drought, the Horned Frogs took a lead they would protect until the final whistle.
First-game nemesis Kati Safaritova scored 11 of TCU's first 16 points, but was held to three the rest of the way.
However, Tricia Payne more than made up the difference with 12 and 11 points in the two halves.
The loss overshadowed another outstanding effort by UH's Crystal Lee who scored a season-high 32 points, was perfect from the free throw line in 13 attempts, had six rebounds, three assists and a blocked shot.
April Atuaia was the only other Wahine in double figures with 13 points. She had nine rebounds, second only to Kylie Galloway who had a game-high 11.
The win guarantees TCU, which has two more games, at least a tie for first-place, and the Horned Frogs will be the No. 1 seed in the WAC tournament, March 6-10.
The Wahine return home today.
They will celebrate "Senior Night" Thursday when they host Texas-El Paso in the final regular-season game starting at 7 p.m. in the Stan Sheriff Center.
