Luau how-to

The Food Network's "Food 911" traces the making of a luau in an episode that begins airing tomorrow.

Host Tyler Florence answers the 911 request from Amy and Bob Leverton of Kaneohe, who wanted help setting up a luau for their friends. Florence took the Leverton's and a camera crew to Paradise Cove Luau, where they tracked a Hawaiian-style party from food preparation through the entertainment. The Levertons then created a luau for 10 at their home.

"Food 911" airs at 8 a.m. and 5 and 8 p.m. tomorrow; 11 a.m. Sunday. The "Luau Like a Local" episode will repeat through mid-March.

For your chance at culinary fame, make a request for emergency help from "Food 911" by filling out the form on the Food Network Web site, www.foodtv.com.
