The Horned Frogs (7-5 overall, 3-0 Western Athletic Conference) pounded away for six runs in the third inning to take a commanding 9-0 lead.
TCU had 14 hits off of three Vulcans' pitchers, and got some help from four Vulcan errors.
"Nothing's going right for us at this time," said UHH coach Joey Estrella. "We're not hitting in situations where we could score some runs, the fielding is not where it should be ... and our pitchers are getting behind on the count, and you can't do that against a hitting team like TCU."
Six Horned Frogs had two hits -- Rudy Rivera, Justin Crowder, Erick Macha, Jason Price, Mike Settle and Terry Trofhols.
Brian Rooke's double was the only highlight for the UHH offense.
Two TCU pitchers -- Chad Durham and Stan Newton --held the Vulcans (3-11, 2-4) to five hits.
