Reservations are being taken for the Hawai'i International Film Festival's Honolulu Oscar Night celebration, which will start at 4 p.m. March 25, the night of the 73rd annual Academy Awards presentation.

The Honolulu party, at the W Honolulu Diamond Head, will be one of 37 Academy-sanctioned parties taking place across the nation.

Party-goers will watch an early telecast of the awards ceremony, courtesy of KITV 4, which will broadcast the Oscar presentation.

This is the third year that HIFF has hosted the official Oscar party, and proceeds from the event will benefit HIFF's programs.

Call 528-3456 ext. 19 for tickets to the party. Tickets are $100 per person; $250 per person with a HIFF bronze membership; or $500 per couple including a HIFF silver membership. Corporate tables will also be available.
