Karl M. "Big Boy" Bader, 61, of Hilo, a production manager for Hawaiian Electric Co., died Monday in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Jeanette; sons Steven, Vaughn, Shane and Vance; father Karl; sisters Anna Sugata and Mabel Kaua; brother Emil, and nine grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Sunday at Dodo Mortuary. Violeta Dela Cruz Bautista, 66, of Hanamaulu, Kauai, died Saturday in Queen's Medical Center. She was born in the Philippines. Elsie C. Cambra, 73, of Pepeekeo, Hawaii, a retired produce clerk for KTA Super Stores, died Thursday in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Pepeekeo. Benjamin S. "Ben" Cantor, 83, of Kona, Hawaii, a retired carpenter, died Monday at home. He was born in the Philippines. Robert J. Gaylord, 68, of San Lorenzo, Calif., a retired master machinist at Kaiser Aerotech/Aerospace in San Leandro, died Friday in Hayward, Calif. He was born in Honolulu. Asa Imoto, 106, of Mililani, a retired cook at Moiliili Hongwanji Mission, died Jan. 15 in Wahiawa General Hospital. She was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. She is survived by son Richard A.; daughters Constance F. Imoto and Gladys A. Sugawa; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Private services.

Kelvin K. Kanahele Jr., of Kekaha, Kauai died Saturday in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was born in Waimea, Kauai. He is survived by parents Kelvin Kanahele and Azua Dotimas; sisters Shaina, Shawna, Shyanne and Savannah, and grandparents Emalia Kanahele, Jean Abreu and Lawrence Dotimas. Eric Sung Ho Kim, 80, of Kapaa, Kauai, a head custodian for the state, died Monday in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Kohala, Hawaii. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and Hawaii National Guard. He was born in Paia, Maui. Marie K. Tumbaga, 56, of Honolulu, a traffic monitor/adult supervisor for Kalihi-Kai Elementary School, died Saturday in Honolulu. She was born in Honolulu.
