Grammy winner
King brings his
blues to Hawaii

Blues artist B.B. King comes to Hawaii for four concerts in March. Tickets go on sale tomorrow.

King, who's released more than 50 albums, is nominated for three Grammy awards this year. He'll perform the following shows:

Bullet March 8 -- 7:30 p.m. at the Kauai Marriott Hotel's Grand Ballroom. Tickets are $40 and $50. Call 1-(808)-245-5050.

Bullet March 9 -- 8 p.m. at the Blaisdell Arena. Tickets $30, $40 and $50. Call 591-2211.

Bullet March 10 -- 7 p.m. at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Tickets $30, $40, $50 and $55. Call 1-(808)-242-SHOW (7469).

Bullet March 11 -- 8 p.m. at the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel Grand Ballroom. Tickets $40 and $50, with a two-drink minimum.

Tickets for all the shows can be purchased at each venue or by calling 526-4400 or going online at TicketPlusHawaii.com.

King's latest album is "Makin' Love is Good For You." His last Grammy award was in 1998 for "Blues on the Bayou."
