25th ‘Sovereign
Sunday’ observed

A crowd gathered yesterday at Iolani Palace to hear Hawaiian
issues in discussion at the World Court in the Hague, Netherlands.
An arbitration tribunal will decide in early March whether to take
up a dispute against the acting Hawaiian Kingdom. Other topics
at the 25th consecutive observation of "Sovereign Sunday" --
marking the 1893 U.S. overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy
-- included the Supreme Court's Rice decision and the Akaka
