Tommy Lee to coach
in Montana

DILLON, Mont. (AP) -- Tommy Lee, offensive coordinator for the University of Utah, was named head coach at Western Montana College yesterday.

He succeeds Duane Rilla, who has been undergoing cancer treatment since early 2000.

Lee, brother of St. Louis coach Cal Lee and University of Hawaii assistant Ron Lee, spent the past six years on Utah's staff, the last three as offensive coordinator. He was also an offensive coordinator for the University of Montana under Don Read after serving in a similar role at Portland State. Tommy Lee was also the head coach at Willamette for 10 years.
