Honolulu police are seeking a fifth suspect after arresting four men for murder and robbery in connection with the death of a Kaneohe liquor store owner whose body was found in a Waimanalo trash bin on Christmas Day.

Song Chol Marshall, 45, was last seen at about 10:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve as he left Angie's Market on Kaneohe Bay Drive with cash and store receipts from the day's sales. His body was found in a trash bin near Keneke's drive-in restaurant in Waimanalo. He had been shot in the head and his wallet was missing. His burned van was found in Mapunapuna.

The crime appears to have been a "botched robbery," said homicide Lt. Bill Kato.

The arrested suspects are males ranging in age from 28 to 33. They are friends who live in Kaneohe and have prior arrests, Kato said.

The fifth suspect is 20 years old. He may be staying in Waikiki and may be with another man in his 30s, whom police also want to question.

Three suspects were taken into custody at the Kaneohe police station yesterday afternoon and evening; the fourth was arrested at the main police station.
