Clele Albitz led South with 16 points. Kainoa Fernandez and Clayton Ku paced the Crusaders with 10 points each.
Fernandez scored seven of his points in the third period as St. Louis erased a 23-12 halftime deficit.
The Division I St. Louis squad whipped Robert Service (Alaska), 50-37, to advance to today's semifinal.
East Lake (Wash.) beat Thousand Oaks (Calif.), 69-56, and Graves (Ky.) drilled Roosevelt (Wash.), 44-29, in the other games.
Andy Sisco of East Lake led all scorers with 21 points. Chase Griffin added 19.
Consolation play continues today with games at 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Semifinal games are set for 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Iolani girls drop Mid-Pac
The Iolani girls' soccer team beat Mid-Pacific, 2-0, yesterday to remain in first place in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu.Jenna Ishii and Alethea Corpuz scored goals for the Raiders (3-0-1).
Charlene Lui scored her second goal of the season to give Punahou (3-0) a 1-0 win over Maryknoll.
The Buffanblu have yet to allow a goal, outscoring their first three opponents, 6-0.
Maryknoll (0-1-3), which has played in two 0-0 ties already this year, gave up just its second goal this season.
Kamehameha (2-0-1) downed St. Francis, 3-0, to remain in third place in the ILH.
Mid-Pacific dropped to 1-3-0, and St. Francis is 0-3-0.
