Alfred J. Ah Sing, 75, of Kurtistown, Hawaii, a retired security guard, died Dec. 1 in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Piihonu, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Clara D.; sons Kaleo and Alfred Jr.; stepsons Fred C. and Kenneth Victorino; daughter Shirley Ann Thomas; stepdaughters Phyllis Oliva, Dorothy Akau and Sandi Kaneda; brothers Raymond, Walter and Melvin; sisters Margaret Veriato, Katherine Lopez, BettyLou Malanson, Rosemarie Ciaramitaro and Agnes Ah Sing; 11 grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 21 step great-grandchildren. Ertis "Pete" Basco, 72, of Kaneohe, who retired from the personnel department of the U.S. Air Force, died Dec. 14. He also retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. He was born in Louisiana. He is survived by wife LaVaina; sons Leonard and Kenneth; brothers Larry and Eugene, and two grandchildren. Private services.

Larry M. Beers, 88, a retired podiatrist in Honolulu, died Tuesday in Kailua. He is survived by daughter Peri Compton; sons Mark Q. and Albert W., and four grandchildren. Eiko K. Bond, 75, of Kona, Hawaii died Tuesday in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Japan. She is survived by husband Ernest J.; brother Tako Koizumi, and sister Takako Ejima. Hazel P. De Guiar, 69, of Captain Cook, Hawaii, a retired housekeeper, died Sunday in Queen's Medical Center. She was born in North Kona, Hawaii. Bernardeta Delos Reyes Rijhoff, 77, of Honolulu, who retired from the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel, died last Thursday in Kuakini Medical Center. She was born in the Philippines. Quintin Sagisi, 100, of Kapaa, Kauai, a retired groundskeeper, died last Thursday in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by son Justo; daughters Dominga Alcaraz, Celedonia Galiza, Cresencia Acojido, Josephine Gascon and Elisa Adaoag; sister Carmen Cadiente, and 33 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Beatrice O.W. Ware, also known as "Bea" or "Bebe," 75, of Waianae, a teacher at St. Andrew's Priory and Waianae Elementary, died last Thursday. She was born in Hawaii. She is survived by husband G. Keith; daughter Sally E. Ware Caminos; son Charles E.; hanai daughter Nora Ha'o, and four grandchildren. Memorial services: 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Philip's Episcopal Church.

Mabel M. Yatsuoka, 72, of Honolulu, a retired supervisor for Andrade Clothing, died Dec. 6. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Katsuto and son Arthur. Private services.

Kaipo'i N.K.N. Young-Tavai, infant son of Keala Young and Jonathan Tavai, died Dec. 18 in Kapiolani Hospital. He is also survived by sister Kealani Young-Rios; and grandparents Vaovai Jr. and Cassandra Tavai and John and Carol Young. Private services.
