There will be a 10:45 a.m. Sunday worship service at Kauluwela Corps, 296 N. Vineyard Blvd.
Candlelight services are planned for 6 p.m. at Central Oahu Corps at 520 Pine St. in Wahiawa, and 6:30 p.m. at Leeward Corps, 98-612 Moanalua Loop, Aiea.
Candlelight services at 7 p.m. will be held at Waioli Chapel at 2950 Manoa Road, and Kaneohe Corps at 45-175 Waikalua Road.
Also, in the Waioli Chapel gardens: half-hour re-enactments of live Nativity scene, 7-10 p.m. nightly, tonight through Dec. 24.

988-1499A public menorah-lighting ceremony at 6:45 p.m. Thursday on the Honolulu City Hall lawn will begin the celebration of Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights. Chabad Cheder Hebrew School children will sing, and hot latkes will be served at the booth on the Koko Head side of City Hall.
A grand Hanukkah party will be held at 4 p.m. Dec. 24 at Chabad Yeshiva, 3225 Pakunu St. Information on tickets, at $10 per adult and $5 per child, is available by calling the office.
