All-State football
team announced
tomorrow

Star-Bulletin staff

On Dec. 1, Kahuku made history by beating St. Louis, 26-20, for the state high school football championship.

It was a total team effort.

Tomorrow, the Red Raiders receive some of their deserved individual accolades -- as do the Crusaders and top players from many other Hawaii high school teams.

See tomorrow's edition for the Star-Bulletin's Super 27 -- the 2000 All-State Football Team.

Many of the players chosen for the three teams and honorable mention -- with input by coaches from every league in the state -- are the ones who led their teams to the big games and helped win them.

The achievements of those who did not make it to the state tournament were also taken into account.

Who are the Back and Lineman of the Year?

Who is the Coach of the Year?

Find out in tomorrow's Star-Bulletin.
