Numbah 11 Day of Christmas . . .

For a bit of holiday cheer, the Star-Bulletin yesterday began a countdown of the Twelve Days of Christmas. Daily through Dec. 23, a staff photographer will present the gift item of the day, as named in the local version of the song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas."

We've taken liberties and are doing a pre-Christmas countdown, starting with the 12th-day gift and ending with the "numbah-one day" gift. Today we present 11 missionaries. Or, as the song goes: "Numbah 11 day of Christmas, my tutu give to me, eleven missionary. ..."
