"She's abroad. I mean, she's still a lady, but she's abroad."
IN A SLING:
The sling that state schools Superintendent Paul LeMahieu has been sporting wasn't due to a broken arm.LeMahieu underwent treatment for a staph infection on the middle finger of his right hand.
He said the treatment included removing his fingernail and fingertip.
With his finger bandaged and his right arm in a sling to keep his hand elevated, LeMahieu attended Tuesday's induction ceremony for newly elected Board of Education members.
