Keys - The Wahine have had extra days off during their 13-day break to prepare for next week's final exams yet Goo has been pleased with the players' focus. "We've had no problems with how hard they have practiced," he said. The coaching staff has added several wrinkles to the repertoire on offense and defense. They may or may not be used this week, but they are in the memory bank. At the same time, Goo wants to see the Wahine continue to improve and refine the plays they began the season with at both ends of the court.
Also of note - Freshman wing April Atuaia has worked her way into the UH starting lineup ... Kylie Galloway is ninth nationally in free-throw percentage (.873 on 29 of 26) ... Crystal Lee has the top scoring average (20.5) and 3-point percentage (.444) among Western Athletic Conference players ... Christen Roper leads the WAC in blocked shots per game (1.83).
