Russell Santos and Vanne Akagi-Bustin defeated Lino Cayetano and Carrie Quicho, 6-2, 6-2, in the Open Division final of the 19th annual Toys for Tots mixed doubles tennis tournament at the Ala Moana courts yesterday.

Regional volleyball tickets

Tickets for this week's NCAA West Regional women's volleyball tournament go on sale to the general public tomorrow at the Stan Sheriff Center ticket office.

Season ticket holders who purchased the option for the regional semifinals Thursday and final Friday may pick up their tickets beginning at noon today.

Tickets also can be purchased at all Ticket Plus outlets, the UH Campus Center, Foodland and Sack N Save stores (except School Street), Tempo Music stores, the World Cafe and MWR Kunia, or by calling 944-BOWS.

Rainbow Classic packages

Ticket packages for the Dec. 27-30 Outrigger Hotels Rainbow Classic went on sale today at the Stan Sheriff Center box office.

The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Tickets also are available by telephone (526-4400) or at Ticket Plus outlets.

Cost of the packages for all six sessions - four evening, two afternoon - are $68 for lower-bowl seats and $52 for upper-level seats. Individual game tickets go on sale Dec. 27.

Tennessee, Iowa, Manhattan, Detroit-Mercy, Saint Louis, Texas A&M, George Washington and host Hawaii are in the men's basketball tournament.
