The post office recommends state residents mail first-class letters and cards by Dec. 18 for delivery to the mainland, Guam and American Samoa. Priority packages to the mainland should be in the mail by Dec. 15.
Suggested mailing deadlines for other locations are detailed in the chart.
"We have a number of new options that will make the mailing experience at our post offices fast and convenient for customers," said Honolulu District Manager Edward Broglio.

Express Mail packages will be delivered on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.Mail Boxes Etc. is authorized to offer Priority Mail, Express Mail and stamps at its six Oahu locations.
A variety of self-adhesive holiday stamps will be offered through vending machines, at selected grocery stores, banks and various other locations. Designs include Madonna and Child, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and a deer.
