Dr. Wayne E. Bruggeman, 55, of Honolulu died Sunday in Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Chicago. He is survived by wife Jacki N.; daughters Laura Bruggeman, Sara Meyer and Lisa O'Shea; sons Michael Bruggeman and David Borges; brother Dr. Paul; sister Nancy Leenerman, and a granddaughter. Herminigildo A. Cabaltera, 96, of Waipahu died Oct. 30 in St. Francis-West Medical Center. He was born in the Philippines. Richard W. Eberhardt, 58, of Haena, Kauai, a mechanic for fishermen and friends, died last Wednesday in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in California. Daniel K. Kahawaii, 88, of Kahuku, a retired cultivation supervisor for Kahuku Sugar Plantation Co., died Nov. 13 in Kahuku. He was born in Laie. The Rev. Abraham K. Imihea Kealoha, 88, of Wailuku, a retired physical therapist, died last Wednesday in Hale Makua, Kahului. He was born in Paia, Maui. Dr. Ralph W. Odom, 79, of Boulder, Colo., a retired professor of philosophy and religions of the world, died Sept. 19 in Westlake Village, Calif. He was also a former teacher at Leeward Community College and a proofreader for the Honolulu Star-Bulletin. He was born in Arizona. He is survived by sister Evelyn Miller; sons Burt and Ukiah Douglas, and six grandchildren. Services on the mainland.
