The University of Hawaii men's volleyball team beat Brigham Young in four games in a rally-scoring exhibition match at the Waimea High School gym on Kauai.

UH won, 31-29, 30-24, 17-30, 30-23.

The teams play tonight on Maui and wind up their preseason series tomorrow at Hilo.

Seasiders win exhibition

Adam Evans scored 24 points and Lamont Young hit for 18 of his 22 points in the second half, leading Brigham Young-Hawaii to a 92-81 exhibition basketball victory over the Northwest All-Stars last night at Laie.

World mark to Jaskulski

The world's top senior sprinter, 98-year-old Erwin Jaskulski of Honolulu, shaved nearly three seconds off his own world age-group record in the 400-meter run last Friday with a time of 2:35.37 at the Kaiser High School track.

Jaskulski is one of 350 seniors from Hawaii, the U.S. mainland and Canada participating in the third annual Hawaii Senior Olympics. He set the previous mark - 2:38.64 - at last year's event.

The Senior Olympics continue through Nov. 26.

Parking for UH football game

Alternate parking sites for tomorrow's Hawaii-Louisiana Tech football game at Aloha Stadium are:

Bullet Kam Drive In
Bullet Leeward Community College
Bullet Radford High School

There will be shuttle service to the stadium from Kam Drive In and Leeward Community College from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Return shuttles from the stadium will run from 9 to 10 p.m. There is no shuttle service from Radford.

Tailgating is not allowed at the alternate parking sites.

Parking in the lower Halawa lot -- for four or more people in one vehicle -- will start at 1 p.m. Entry will be from the lower Salt Lake gate (across from McDonald's on Salt Lake Blvd.) and the Halawa gate (on Kahuapaani before Salt Lake Blvd.).

Stadium parking and turnstile gates will open at 2:30 p.m. There will be no on-street parking before the gates open.

When signs read, "Lot full, passes only," cars with passes will be allowed through parking gates and all others will be directed to the alternate parking sites.

Roberts buses to stadium

Roberts Hawaii is offering round-trip shuttle bus service to Aloha Stadium for tomorrow's UH-Louisiana Tech football game.

Bus No. 1 starts at Koko Head Elementary School (4:15 p.m.), Hawaii Kai Park &Ride (4:30) and Kahala Mall (4:45).

Bus No. 2 picks up at Mililani Mauka Park n' Ride (4:30 p.m.). Bus No. 3 picks up at Windward Mall Shopping Center on Alaloa Street at 4:30 p.m.

The Kapolei route has been discontinued.
