University of Hawaii students this week join colleges and
universities across the country in celebrating the first International
Education Week with a variety of cultural events and performances.

a dance based on martial arts.

Turkey Trot racer is
on the right track

Seven-year-old Tivaini Tatofi finds himself boxed in yesterday
afternoon as he participates in the tank race portion of the 21st
Annual Turkey Trot at Kaneohe Community Park. The family
competition, which began at 5 p.m. at the park at Keaahala Road,
included a sack race and a "snowshoe" run. Below, Rhonda Lynch
of Kaneohe guides a reluctant Makana Endreginal through the
obstacle course. The activities were sponsored by the city.
