Two-time world champion Meldrick Taylor, the original headliner, was dropped from the card last week.
But the rest of the card put together by Hawaii Pro Boxing Inc. is expected to go on at the Sheraton Waikiki's Hawaii Ballroom.
Marshall Kauffman, manager of Taylor's scheduled opponent, WBF Intercontinental welterweight champion Bobby Heath, said he has agreed to bring the other two fighters he handles on the card: junior middleweight Mike Rios and light heavyweight Mike Alvarez.

The match was originally scheduled for Klum Gym, but the court has sustained termite damage and was deemed unsuitable.
The Rainbows host Brigham Young in their annual fall islands tour. Matches against the Cougars are scheduled for Nov. 15 at the Stan Sheriff Center; Nov. 16 at Waimea High gym on Kauai; Nov. 17 at War Memorial Gym on Maui, and Nov. 18 at Hilo's Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium. All matches start at 7 p.m.
The format in men's collegiate volleyball has changed this season, implementing rally scoring and the playing of let serves. Matches will remain best 3-of 5 but Games 1-4 will be scored to 30, with Game 5 to 15.
UH opens its 2001 season Jan. 6 with the annual alumni match. Its first official competition will be Jan. 10 and 12 against Lewis.
UH runners 4th in WAC
The University of Hawaii women's cross country team finished fourth Saturday at the Western Athletic Conference championship held at Tulsa, Okla.Wahine junior Cheryl Smith placed third overall, covering the 5,000-meter course in 17 minutes, 48 seconds. Junior Casey McGuire-Turcotte finished in sixth place in 18:27.
Glady's Keitany of Texas Christian won the race in 17:22 and led TCU to the team title.
Hilo's Ruhland honored
Hilo High School senior Edward Ruhland has been named Hawaii's male winner of the Wendy's High School Heisman Award, becoming one of 102 boys and girls eligible for the national trophy.Ruhland, who plays football, soccer and tennis for the Vikings, joins Iris Moon of Hana, the state female award winner, in the national competition.
Criteria for the High School Heisman selections are academics, athletics and community service.
Wahine Classic at Kapolei
The fourth Rainbow Wahine Fall Golf Classic will be played tomorrow and Wednesday at the Kapolei course, with host Hawaii joining 14 other college teams in the 54-hole event.The first two rounds are scheduled for tomorrow, the final 18 holes on Wednesday.
Defending champion UCLA, No. 17 nationally according to Golfweek, is the highest-ranked team in the field.
The Wahine are led by fourth-year coach Marga Stubblefield. Scheduled to play for the UH Wahine are Bobbie Arakawa, Laura DeLucia, Rene Krause, Melanie Matsumura, Megan McGuinness, Autumn Monteiro and Kristen Scholl.
Vitale goes to Xtreme
Former University of Hawaii football player Falaniko Vitale will take on two-time wrestling All-American Mark Hughes of Davenport, Iowa, in the main event of the Xtreme Showdown Nov. 14 at Blaisdell Arena.The 10-bout card features fighters from T, Jay Thompson's Future Brawl group going head-on with those from Monte Cox's Extreme Challenge outfit.
Other featured bouts include John Allessio vs. Joe Doerksen and Josh Hall vs. Rick Gravesen.
The action starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance ($29 on day of fights) for general admission and $50 for ringside.
