The University of Hawaii women's volleyball team learned how to do something it hasn't done all season: Win without Lily Kahumoku. UH sweeps TCU

The Wahine defeated the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs, 17-15, 15-10, 15-8, in Texas last night to remain perfect on the season (19-0 overall, 9-0 in the Western Athletic Conference).
TCU fell to 12-13 and 4-5.
Kahumoku, the sophomore who has been Hawaii's offensive leader all year, jammed her wrist on the floor during a defensive drill in practice on Thursday and suffered bruised cartilage.
"She's wearing a splint," said coach Dave Shoji, who wasn't sure when Kahumoku would be back.
In her place, Shoji started junior outside hitter Tanja Nikolic, who responded by hitting .409 with a career-high 12 kills.
"I think we can do it as a team without Lily, and Tanja's a very good backup," said Shoji.
Senior captain Jessica Sudduth led UH with 15 kills. Kim Willoughby had 13 kills while hitting .346, and Maja Gustin added six kills and six blocks.
The Wahine trailed in every game. Down 14-11 in Game 1, they held off four game-points before rallying for the 17-15 win.
