to Cirque EloizeThe Montreal-based troupe features acrobats, clowns, jugglers, trapeze artists and musicians in a performance, dubbed "Excentricus," that's part circus and part dance theater.
Cirque Eloize was founded in 1993 by seven graduates of Canada's National Circus School and Cirque du Soleil alumni. The company first played here in 1998.
Tickets are $35 for adults and $20 for children, students, senior citizens and military for all seats Wednesday and Thursday. Tickets Friday to Sunday are $50 and $35 for orchestra and loge and $40 and $25 for balcony seats.
They are available at the Hawaii Theatre box office, military outlets and TicketPlus outlets, with a 20 percent discount to groups of 20 or more. To charge by phone, call 528-0506.
The company also will perform 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2 and 3 at Maui Arts & Cultural Center's Castle Theater. Tickets range from $10 to $50, and are half-priced for kids 12 & under.

Cirque Eloize will help kick off the French Festival at Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center's Fountain Courtyard, 5 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Free.The performers will also judge a children's costume contest (through high school age) in Chinatown Gateway Park following their 2 p.m. Sunday show. There will be treats for children as well.
