Miriam L.K. Akana, 94, of Honolulu, a retired soloist with the Royal Hawaiian Band, died Saturday in Honolulu. She was born in Papaikou, Hawaii. She is survived by son Arthur Keawe; brother Harry Ah Mai, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lanakila Ward. Kathleen L. Bitonio, 45, of Kaneohe, who worked for AT&T, died Monday in Castle Medical Center. She was born in Wahiawa.
