The only thing the Makiki resident hasn't been is lucky.
Until yesterday.
Sekiya's entry was chosen for the weekly $500 prize. She went 9-1, which tied the best record that the Football Fever panel turned in. The Star-Bulletin's Cindy Luis was also 9-1.
"I'm not much of a football fan but I like to play the (Football Fever) game,'' Sekiya said. "I don't pay attention to the stats and it takes me about a minute to make my picks. It's a matter of luck.''
