Mary T. Aki, 81, of Nanakuli, died Thursday in St. Francis Medical Center West. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Edward W.; daughters Noelani W. Thornton, Shirley M. Jale and Johnsie H. Kodama; brothers James White and Edward White; sisters Thelma Cross and Velma Kekona; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. Kenneth K. Akiyama, 80, of Honolulu, a retired architect, died Sept. 22 at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Kikue; son Chris A.; daughter Rene N. Watanabe; brother Kenichi; sister Irene Sakamoto; and 2 grandchildren. Services were private.

Joseph C. Ayres, 78, of Kailua, died Wednesday at Castle Medical Center. He was born on Kauai. Juliana M. Bartolome, 82, of Pahoa, Hawaii, died Oct. 2 in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in the Philippines. William W. "Gidi" Brown Jr., 74, of Nanakuli, a former Department of Transportation supervisor, died Thursday at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons William III, David E. Harrison, Reginald P. Brown, Moses P.C. Morris, Wendell K. Kamealoha and Leroy K. Kamealoha; daughter Olinda W.K. Cruz; brothers James, Roy and Francis Makio and Burnette and Donald Brown; stepmother March Malaki Brown; sisters Joan Soares, Louise Mahelona, Cecilia K. Miyamoto, Bernice Pestana, Arleen Lewis, Alice Mendoza and Christina Sison, 42 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Alberto Y. Cunanan, 87, of Honolulu, a retired machine operator for Del Monte Corp., died Sept. 20 in St. Francis Medical Center. He was born in the Philippines. Decklan D.K. Kekoa, 40, of Kaunakakai, Molokai, died Sept. 28. He is survived by brothers Donald, Zandee, Delton and Kaimana Dudoit; and sisters Josephine Dudoit, Julia Kekona and Zandra Dudoit. The information was not included in Thursday's obituary.
