Arnold Brown, 78, of Maui, a retired metallurgist, died Wednesday in Honolulu. He was born in Canada. He is survived by son Paul and daughter Carol. Private services.

Solomon Cornelio Jr., 33, of Waianae died Wednesday in Waianae Comprehensive Health Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Aric; parents Solomon and Margie; brother David, and sisters Tammy Kaopua and Roxanne Cornelio. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Nuuanu Memorial Park Mortuary. Call after 8:30 a.m. Burial: Valley of the Temples. Casual attire.

Viola S. Dorr, 96, of Wahiawa died Tuesday. She was born in Ocheyedan, Iowa. She is survived by sons George and John; daughter Patricia Gregor; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Memorial services at the Lutheran Church of Honolulu at a later date.

Lilla K. Kaai, 60, of Hilo died Tuesday in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Nanakuli. She is survived by son Leighton K. Jr.; daughters Lydia Torrence, Jo-Ann Chambers, Laurinda Kaai, Martha Keohuloa and Cindy Mata; brother Calvin Werner, and nine grandchildren. Graveside services: 2 p.m. Monday at Kona Memorial Park. Casual attire. No flowers.

Juanita Echeverria Kenda, 77, of Houston, an art educator with the state, the Honolulu Academy of Arts and the University of Hawaii, died Sept. 26. She was born in Tarentum, Pa. She is survived by husband William; sons Carlos and William "Bill"; daughter Linda Wiggin; brother Carlos P. Echeverria and eight grandchildren. Services held. No flowers. Mau Woo Lee, 83, of Honolulu, a retired welder, died Monday in Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Koloa, Kauai. He is survived by wife Helen Y. and son Tony. Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Burial: Hawaiian Memorial Park. Casual attire. No flowers.

Chiyoko N. Miyasato, 79, of Honolulu, a retired Alakea Grill waitress, died Wednesday. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by sons Roy, Patrick and Russel; daughters Dorothy Pope and Beatrice, Sharon and Sandra Miyasato; brother Richard Nagamine, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Hisako Nishi, 91, of Honolulu, who retired from Kuakini Medical Center, died Sept. 26 in Kuakini Geriatric Care Inc. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Dr. James A.; daughters Elaine E. Kodama and Ellen T. Moriwaki; brothers Katsumi, Bruce, Tatsumi, Norman and Karl Nishimoto; sister Sumi Khim, 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Harris United Methodist Church.

Yoshimi "Clarky" Ohara, 83, of Honolulu, a retired Hickam Air Force Base building maintenance worker, died Monday. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Charlotte; daughter Wren Hashida, and sister Violet. Services: 6 p.m. Tuesday at Nuuanu Mortuary. Call after 5 p.m.

Patricia A. Perry, 59, of Makakilo died last Friday in St. Francis-West Hospital. She was born on Maui. She is survived by husband Stanley; daughter Dianne; father Benjamin Tavares; mother Sybil Lee-Watai; brother Norman Tavares; sisters Myrtle Agrabante and Brenda Noel, and two grandchildren. Private services.

Robert D. Provasoli, 84, of Waianae, a sales representative for Educational Textbook Publishing Co., died yesterday in Ewa Beach. He was born in Malboro, Mass. He is survived by wife Ruth; daughter Mary Ellen Strzepek; sons Robert and Richard; sister Margherita Del Greco, and eight grandchildren. Private services. Inurnment on the mainland. Fredericko S. "Blackie" Roquierro, 83, of Lihue, Kauai, a supervisor in the demolition industry, died Tuesday in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Olaa, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Freddie, Louis and Warren Ellis and Rocky and Freddie Otsuka; daughters Momi Hulama, Corrine Ahuna and Lei Kalama, and 26 grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Sunday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Call from 6 to 9 p.m. Graveside services: 10 a.m. Monday at Greenhaven Cemetery. Aloha attire.
