But when it comes to making the final selections, the retired Honolulu resident also relies on guesswork.
It worked last week as Teramoto went 9-1 to win the weekly prize of $500.
"It will come in handy to pay some bills,'' he said yesterday.
The best the Fever panel could do last week was 5-5. All ballots with that record or higher were eligible for the weekly drawing.
All entries are eligible for the grand prize drawing.
